Mary raised her son to cook for himself. At age 35, he occasionally buys his meals. The skill of cooking has helped him to be financially independent and enjoy good health.
Mary and her husband have a large food garden. For 3 years, they sold vegetables at farm markets.
After being trained in Culinary Management, Mary cooked professionally for 10 years, including at the Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta and several well-known restaurants in Victoria British Columbia Canada.
She is a Distinguished Toastmaster. She helps members to develop communication and leadership skills.
Mary’s goal for the world – to see everyone capable of making their own food daily and build a community around sharing our food.
