From the moment I faced my own health crisis, developing Multiple Chemical Sensitivities in the early '90s, I knew my life was taking a new, unexpected direction. Born in Vancouver and now calling Halifax, Canada my home, I've transformed my challenges into a mission for environmental health.

I've always believed in turning adversity into opportunity. My journey began in earnest when witnessing the impact of environmental neglect firsthand; nearly a thousand employees fell ill at a local hospital, a clear signal that change was critical. This incident was a pivotal moment for me, as I realized that our children are exposed to so many toxic products, especially since the number of synthetic chemicals we encounter in our daily lives increased to 140,000 by 2020. It wasn't just about protecting those directly affected any more—it became a broader fight against the fragrance industry's misleading marketing tactics and the hidden dangers lurking in everyday products.

Education, I realized, was the key. I dedicated myself to enlightening families on how to safeguard their health, emphasizing the significance of a childhood free from the constraints of preventable illnesses. My goal is clear: to nurture a generation of strong, healthy individuals who contribute positively to society.

My activism is not just a call to action; it's an invitation to empower oneself against environmental toxins. Through my writings, public speaking, and both digital and in-person programs, I aim to equip parents with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a Dream Green Bedroom Sanctuary for peaceful, rejuvenating sleep. I've also created a space for community support and shared learning in my "Going Green Together" Facebook group, encouraging everyone to join and contribute to our collective well-being.

My passion extends beyond activism. I'm deeply committed to cultural preservation, ancestral ceremonies, and wellness practices like Instant Miracle™ and Reiki healing sessions. When not advocating for a healthier, chemical-free future, I cherish family time, explore new destinations, tend to my garden, and add to my beloved elephant collection.

I invite you to connect with me on LinkedIn. Let's engage in meaningful dialogue and work together towards an inspiring, healthier future devoid of chemical hazards.
