Natalie Runoff is a governance engineer and organizational researcher specializing in the Strategy–Execution Interface. Her work focuses on how strategic intent translates into coordinated action across leadership layers and organizational boundaries. She developed the SEI Architecture, a governance framework that makes execution coherence measurable and enables leaders to detect breakdowns before they escalate into costly outcomes.
Natalie’s research integrates layered leadership, interface governance, and operational activation, with a particular emphasis on strengthening middle management as the stabilizing layer of execution. She is the author of a trilogy of research papers formalizing the SEI model and has piloted related leadership programs and diagnostic tools. Her work bridges academic theory and practical governance, equipping organizations to sustain coordinated execution under strain.
