Drocella Mugorewera was born and raised in Rwanda and now resides in Knoxville, TN with her wonderful husband Jean of 29 years. Drocella is a former member of Parliament and the Rwandan government. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev. Drocella served as Executive Director of Bridge Refugee Services in Knoxville, TN for the past 6 years.
After fleeing Rwanda in 2008 for her safety, Drocella arrived in America without her children, husband, or money to rely on. Overcoming pain and fear, with her resilience and determination, she adapted, learned new skills, and created a new life .
Drocella Mugorewera now travels the country and the world to live and virtual events helping men and women who have endured life's challenges, trauma and transitions to start over and learn how to navigate the systems of their new found strengths.
