Charlie Hart, also known as ‘Ausome Charlie’ (she/they) is a professional keynote speaker, an experienced CIPD-qualified HR Analyst, and a popular and influential neurodiversity advocate. Charlie is neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Complex PTSD), bisexual/pansexual and gender non-conforming.
Charlie’s talks centre her own lived experience and insights, underpinned with expertise in employment legislation and inclusion theory, and delivered with authentically neurodivergent quirkiness and self-deprecating humour.
Best known as an autistic speaker on neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace, Charlie also talks about bisexuality and pansexuality, complex PTSD, atypical grief, and intersecting identities particularly Autistic/LGBTQIA+ (the ‘double rainbow’ intersection).
Unafraid to tackle emotive topics other speakers avoid, Charlie is not just another happy-flappy neurodiversity advocate; she speaks of dark clouds and silver linings, of adversity and resilience, and will leave you inspired and hopeful but with pragmatic takeaways.
Charlie Hart is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc.CIPD), and a Professional Member of the Professional Speaking Association (MPSA).
She offers keynote speeches, webinars, 'lunch and learns', event emcee/compere, interviews, panels, comedy, and video content.
She lives near Birmingham, England, and is happy to travel within the UK and internationally.

Charlie Hart (she/they) is an experienced, CIPD-qualified HR Analyst.
She was eventually diagnosed autistic at the age of 42, after struggling for decades without understanding why and without knowing how to advocate for her needs. Since then she has been diagnosed with Complex PTSD and ADHD, and is now thriving!
Delivering presentations and speeches about autism and neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace started as Charlie's side quest, but since leaving her HR Analyst role in June 2023 she has established a reputation as a popular and engaging keynote speaker.
Charlie is also bisexual/pansexual and gender non-conforming. The LGBTQIA+ community is just as important to her as the neurodivergent community, and there is a significant correlation. Her family promote love, compassion and support for all people on the ‘double rainbow’ intersection: LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent. Listen to Charlie's keynote to learn how, and why.

In this keynote, Charlie will delve into the Neurodiversity Paradigm, shining a light on Neurodivergence in adults, particularly Autism and ADHD. She will draw on lived experience insights, professional HR expertise, and deep knowledge of evolving DEI best practice and emerging trends.
Charlie will explain why and how to implement neuro-inclusion strategies at work, in a realistic and pragmatic way that cuts through inclusion fatigue and anti-woke backlash.
This is not just about being kind to neurodivergent employees, and it is not just about complying with the Equality Act 2010; Charlie will demonstrate that going above and beyond the employment legislation to implement neuro-inclusion strategies for everyone will benefit the bottom line and your entire workforce, both now and in the future- a win: win!
Are you ready to:
- Increase your employee engagement, resilience, and profitability?
- Enhance your Employer Value Proposition to potential recruits, including Gen Z?
- Create a culture of psychological safety, in which every individual can thrive?
Whether you need to understand the business case for neuro-inclusion, identify and accommodate individual needs, empower neurodiverse teams, or create a culture of inclusion and psychological safety, Charlie’s neurodiversity inclusion keynote will win hearts and minds with lasting impact and actionable takeaways. And she is also funny!
