Betty Fitzgerald (M Ed (Music Education), B Mus, Dip CSM, ALCM, TIR) is a freelance music teacher, choral conductor, and accompanist. For over 25 years in her role as a choral conductor, Betty has brought thousands of people together and created communities through singing and performing music. As a passionate advocate of choral singing,  Betty founded a mixed-adult choir, “Cór Geal”in 2009 (www.corgealchoir.ie) and an online choir for women (50+) in 2022,  “The Digital Dawn Birds” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/422443506551492).  In her online choir, Betty is on mission is to connect women (50+) to experience joy and confidence through singing. In Betty's safe online space, women are now unearthing and discovering their voices, many of which have not been used since childhood. Betty's passion, enthusiasm, and love for her work have contributed greatly to the great success of her mission to date.
