I am a parent/teen/young adult coach, helping families struggling with conflict and chaos move towards calm, mutual trust and respect, and helping parents learn to guide their teens to being the successful, independent adults they are meant to be.
I have a PHD in child clinical psychology which led to my first career as a clinical psychologist for over 25 years. I switched to coaching nearly 9 years ago, as I wanted to focus on teaching skills and strategies for teens and parents and I’ve loved that.
I”m especially proud of being co-author of 7 books on relationships and communication and one on parenting kids with sensory processing disorder.
i speak at summits, workshops, and podcasts for parents of tweens, teens, and young adults, and directly to teens and young adults, about communication and relationships, about executive functioning skills, and about how to guide young people to becoming successful, independent adults. I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and twice exceptional people, those identified as both gifted and having disability labels. Families see me as especially supportive because I have two twice exceptional young adult children of my own, so parents know I've lived the same life they have.
