Bio

Steven Walters brings a storied and wide range of dynamic life experiences to his courses.  He helps people master their communication skills to improve relationships and personal success. His guidance also aims to help individuals avoid burnout. 

Steven brings a lifetime of experience as an entrepreneur, having started and operated 7 businesses. He is also a former Taekwondo Instructor and a 6-time national gold medalist, achievements he continued to earn after the age of 45.  Now as a college teacher of communications and student success strategies, he avidly promotes his creation ‘The Wheel of Success’ that consists of six critical components that everyone can benefit from.

The Wheel of Success validates the importance of personal accountability in goal setting, time management, motivation, stress management, dealing with success and failure, and the self-awareness of human wellness.  The eight areas of Human Wellness include: physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, financial, occupational, environmental, and social wellness are all part of what it takes to reach success in school, work, and life beyond.

Steven is also a prolific video content creator with three YouTube channels that reach a Worldwide audience on how to master effective communication, and reach higher levels of success while avoiding burnout, and his newest channel explores and reveals some amazing past, present, and future sites in Turkey.

In my presentation, I guide early-stage entrepreneurs in applying 8 practical habits of resilient people to the 8 Areas of Human Wellness. These habits—staying connected, embracing change, practicing self-awareness, maintaining a positive outlook, setting realistic goals, learning from failure, practicing self-care, and staying flexible—prevent burnout and maintain balance. By strengthening Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial, Occupational, Environmental, and Social Wellness, entrepreneurs protect their well-being while enhancing energy and focus. The presentation provides actionable steps to integrate these habits into daily life, helping entrepreneurs navigate business challenges while living more balanced, fulfilling lives. Attendees will learn how and why building resilience across all aspects of wellness is essential, setting the foundation for sustainable success in both personal and professional spheres.
