Sherri Toebe knows what it feels like to white knuckle your way through cravings and weight loss. After having her two sons, her weight climbed and her blood pressure was high. For years, she kept the weight off the hard way: constant struggle, stress, guilt, shame, and the fear that one wrong move would blow everything she had worked for.
What changed wasn't a new diet. It was a new relationship with the mind and food entirely.
Today, more than eight years into maintaining a 30-40 lb weight loss, Sherri describes her experience around food as peaceful. She can be in front of any food without fear, without white knuckling it, without the dread that she might lose control. That shift from anxiety to ease is exactly what she teaches others to find.
Sherri is a mentor trained in motivational interviewing, health and wellness coaching, and a trained Heroic Performance Coach. Her work draws on whole food plant based nutrition, craving neuroscience, and mindset rewiring, informed by her training in The Work of Byron Katie, a practice for releasing stressful thoughts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Oregon University and brings over a decade of experience in human behavior through her professional background in HR and talent development.
Her coaching is not about perfection or restriction. It is about breaking the craving loop that keeps people stuck and building a relationship with food that does not require willpower to maintain.
Sherri is based in New York and mentors others as part of the Plant Based Coaches.
