As the daughter of two Army Veterans, I grew up spending a lot of time alone. I didn't like myself, my name, or the many differentsurroundings I frequently found myself moving to. Until I learned that the power for my happiness and success was given to me...with my name. I am a nationalspeech and debate champion, a professor, a leader in the development of collegiate curriculum forstudents of color, and I am the regional chair for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Arts Festival. My life's work is empowering people to be who they were always intended to be, amazing!
