Since the year 2000, Marilen has devoted her career to empowering passionate creatives and aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their innovative ideas into successful businesses. With an impressive 25 years of experience in Business Development and Marketing Strategies, she understands that success is not solely about having a brilliant idea; it's equally about the ability to structure an effective process and market it strategically.

In addition to her work at ARTINSPIRED, Marilen serves on the Board of the Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads and is a board member of the York County Chamber of Commerce. She is also the founder of the new Incubator Program for the York Chamber, showcasing her dedication to fostering innovation and growth within the community.

Marilen is also a Professional Speaker, having shared her insights at prestigious platforms such as NASA and Civitan International. Her journey in public speaking has been further enriched through mentorship from the legendary Les Brown, with whom she is currently collaborating on a special project called the Motivation Manifesto. Recognizing the importance of technology in today’s business landscape, Marilen has been teaching A.I. skills to entrepreneurs and business leaders since 2023.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marilen is also known for her ballroom dance skills and choreography, having taught since 2000.
