Kareemgraphy (Abdul Kareem) is a calligraffiti artist and designer whose masterpieces emerge from his creative experiments that blend calligraphy with graffiti art. As the graffiti artist for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Dubai World Cup 2024, and AFC Asian Cup 2023, and through collaborations with globally renowned brands, his creativity has been widely celebrated.
He began his journey in Arabic calligraphy during his early years in Medina, dedicating years to learn traditional calligraphy. Combining his artistry with 13 years of experience at the world-renowned advertising agency Leo Burnett in Dubai and Doha.
His impactful work has earned recognition from global media outlets such as Euro News, Al Ahram Egypt, Khaleej Times U.A.E, Al Jazeera, Gulf Times, Al Kaas TV, The Peninsula, Al Raya Qatar, Deccan Herald, MediaOne TV, 24 News and others.
He was honored to perform an art installation at the Dubai World Cup Horse Race 2024 in collaboration with AC Milan and Emirates. He was invited for a live performance at Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco, and he was also invited to the International Graffiti Festival and Harmoney Festival in Indonesia. In early 2024, Kareemgraphy showcased his craft on a Bentley car at The Amir Sword International Equestrian Festival in Doha, in collaboration with Al Shaqab. In early 2025 He performed live calligraffiti on a Rolls-Royce Car at Emirates Towers, Dubai, and a dual performance of Calligraffiti and an interactive live booth at the Lusail Sky Festival for Visit Qatar, Doha. He also marked live performance at Qatar Foundation and Georgetown University in Doha, Qatar.
He was honored with the prestigious Dubai Golden Visa in recognition of his artistic talent.
He has exhibited and performed live calligraffiti at the Harmony Festival in Jakarta,Indonesia, Meem Festval in Dubai UAE, Tourism Department of Uzbekistan in Samarkand, Jashn-e-Rekhta in New Delhi, India, and the Malabar Literature Festival in Kozhikode, India, ICFK International Calligraphy Festival of Kerala in Kochi, India, where his performance was integrated with a live musical act, showcasing the theatrical expression of his masterstrokes.
In 2020, He founded Kagrart in Calicut, India, a center dedicated to the training and promotion of art and calligraphy. Kareemgraphy has led numerous workshops in cities such as Istanbul, Egypt,Morocco, Tanzania, Dubai, Qatar, Iran, Indonesia,Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Khazakhstan, SriLanka and across India.
