Kara Raap is an author, educator of 27 years, podcast host, speaker, and the founder of The Unlikely Leader, LLC, a faith-based platform dedicated to encouraging women to discover their God-given purpose and step boldly into the calling He has placed on their lives.

Kara’s message is rooted in a powerful truth: God can turn our setbacks into comebacks, our trials into testimonies, and our weaknesses into opportunities for His strength to shine through. Through her own experiences, she encourages women to recognize that the obstacles they face do not disqualify them from God’s plan - they may be part of the very story He is writing.

Kara is also the organizer of Faith, Fitness, & Fellowship, a Christian Women’s Retreat taking place over Columbus Day Weekend. The retreat will bring women together for a weekend of faith, movement, connection, worship, and encouragement, featuring a well-known Christian dance fitness influencer from Fort Worth, Texas.

In her summit session, “Unwrap Your Spiritual Gifts,” Kara invites women to discover the unique gifts God has placed within them and consider how those gifts can be used to fulfill their God-given mission. Her passion is creating opportunities to speak to women about overcoming obstacles, finding purpose in the midst of trials, and trusting God to use every part of their story for good.
