Jasmine Nathan is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, writer, and advocate who brings a deeply human perspective to conversations about chronic illness, love, and resilience. Shaped by her military service and her current work supporting fellow veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Jasmine blends academic insight with lived experience and heartfelt truth.
Living with myasthenia gravis, she uses her voice to illuminate the often-unspoken emotional and relational complexities of chronic illness especially within romantic relationships and self-identity. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and has completed doctoral coursework in the same field. Her academic achievements include placement on the President’s List and induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Through her writing and advocacy, Jasmine creates space for awareness, connection, and hope—reminding others that vulnerability can coexist with strength.
