Dr. Eugene Manley, Jr. is an award-winning public speaker, science communicator, and health equity strategist with over 20 years of experience across cancer biology, STEMM workforce diversity, and biomedical engineering. A dynamic storyteller and sought-after event host, he bridges complex scientific topics and community understanding through compelling webinars, panels, podcasts, and public forums. As the Founder & CEO of the SCHEQ Foundation, Dr. Manley has produced and moderated high-impact events such as the annual Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit and multiple national webinar series that uplift underserved voices in cancer care and STEMM education.

Dr. Manley’s lived experience as a first-gen scholar from inner-city Detroit, combined with a PhD in Molecular Biology, powers his passion for making science and medicine accessible to all. He has hosted and produced science-focused webinars and podcasts, developed national mentorship and training programs, and partnered with top cancer organizations, biotech companies, and advocacy groups to drive change at scale.
