The Art of Being A Global Citizen: Unlocking The Best Version of YOU

After living in 7 countries, traveling to 46 and speaking 7 languages, I have been able to discover that learning and developing around the world is the most efficient way to create the best version of yourself. Going out is not because you are outside, but because changes in circumstances are what allow you to reflect your identity in different colors. Thanks to the opportunities that the world offers us today, we do not have to be limited to the resources of our native country. Thus, through this concept of global citizenship, by which an individual can diversify all areas of his life around the world, reducing his risk of dependence on some system and creating a higher quality and level lifestyle without even having to leaving home.

Through this, I studied in 3 countries, today I live in Tbilisi, I practice Sufism, I commonly wear kurta-shalwar, I listen to music in Hebrew, my favorite dish is beshbarmak, I think in Mandarin, I have bank accounts in 5 countries and companies around the world. Likewise, I plan to acquire two passports (Turkish and Hungarian), a permanent residence in Malaysia, and incorporate a start-up in Singapore in the future. Things that anyone can and has the right to do... it's just a matter of not being afraid to be great and believing that it is possible for you.

From Tourist to Refugee In 48 Hrs

Traveling through Kazakhstan and the Republic of Georgia in Eurasia during the summer of 2014, an unexpected incident arose in which my passport, phone, notebook and camera were stolen. This event led me to be trapped in the country without papers for approximately a month. And at the same time, circumstances and lack of money put me in a situation where I was living in an abandoned truck and could only eat one vegetable soup a day.

Undoubtedly a difficult experience with much, much life learning. I think that sharing this story and its contrast with today could reflect the positive side of things in the moments where you least imagine that you are growing as a person.

Sufism & the Internal War in Quarantine

Quarantine is not the first time I have spent months in isolation. Other people, we simply call it 'depression'. Being a common phase in many people (where there are constant unknowns and existential questions), an opportunity to grow always arises. It is through that silence of isolation that introspection allows us to reconnect with ourselves and look deeper into our essence. After suffering chronic hives due to depression 2 years ago, there is no doubt that an isolation quarantine is the healthiest way to go to war against your own ego. This opportunity we have today is nothing more than a golden blessing to be able to understand that your greatest weakness may be your greatest strength.

The intention of this talk is to show a positive side of quarantine and the opportunity we have to make a substantial reflection on our purpose in life without having to suffer from severe depression.
