People often refer to Jeffrey Gurian as a “Renaissance Man”, because he’s involved in so many things. He’s a motivational speaker who speaks on Happiness, mindset, and changing negative thinking to positive thinking, a comedy writer, performer, director, best-selling Amazon author with 8 books, (five on comedy, one with Chris Rock and 3 on Happiness), a producer, radio personality, and doctor, and not always in that order.
Known as “The Dr. of Happiness”, he may be the only doctor with a long-standing career in comedy having written for and worked with some of the biggest stars from Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, George Wallace, Gilbert Gottfried, Phil Hartman, Richard Belzer, Jerry Lewis, and Andrew “Dice” Clay, among many others, up to the stars of today like Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Bill Burr, Nick Kroll, and John Mulaney for whom he starred in the viral Too Much Tuna sketch on Comedy Central.
He was Patrice O’Neal’s co-host on The Black Phillip Show on XM radio and has been profiled in the NY Times and on every TV and radio station coming out of NY.

The acknowledgment that we are all holding thoughts that are not valid for us, many times given to us by people who did not have our best interests at heart is necessary for the process of Healing. Since childhood any time anyone has ever hurt your feelings, lied to you, broken a promise or broke up with you in a relationship, those things stay inside of us as wounds to our heart Chakra, which I call “Heart Wounds.” In order to achieve a state of Happiness, those wounds need to be healed and released. This is what led to my first Amazon Best Seller, and the first book in what I call my “Happiness Series”, entitled “ Healing Your Heart By Changing Your Mind - A Spiritual and Humorous Approach To Achieving Happiness.”
These “negative thoughts” which tell you you'll never achieve your goals, affect your self-esteem, your self-confidence and every decision you make in your life because your decisions rely on your thoughts, and if your thoughts are faulty your decisions will not work out for you, which is the reason people see the same patterns over and over again, the same bad job, the same bad relationship, and the only common denominator is YOU!
I spent 20 years on the Board of The Assoc. for Spirituality and Psychotherapy, 12 years at NYU as a Clinical Prof. in the Oral Medicine and Oro-Facial Pain Department and 25 years in practice as a Cosmetic Dentist with a specialty in treating the physical symptoms of stress-related illness like Migraine-type headaches, neck pain etc. due to clenching and grinding of the teeth due to stress.
