I have been invited as a lecturer, panelist, or presenter at Harvard, Yale, University of London, the world's top film festivals, international pitching stages for startups, and more. I like to speak about impact, storytelling, narrative change, behavior change, career pivots (or in my case, expansion), hyphenated identities (I am a Korean married to an Indian-Brit whom I met in Kenya and we now live in US/Mexico!), and the importance of overcoming otherization and tribalism. I have worked in 19 countries as a human rights defender, poverty alleviation impact evaluator, award-winning documentary film director (HBO “40 Under 40”, and currently leading an Oscar-nominated team to tell the story of a political prisoner in the world's newest testing ground for democracy), and a serial entrepreneur (founder and first CEO of a VC-backed women's self-care brand in Africa, featured on BBC and TechCrunch). Most importantly – I like to entertain as much I like to inspire. You can see me attempting to do both below.
