Caron Asgarali is a survivor, a storyteller, and a woman of faith and action. A dedicated educator, she helps others balance life’s challenges with hope and intention using the power of words – her own and theirs- as well as the Word.
Being shot by armed robbers in 2013 could have broken her, but instead, she leaned into faith, into community, and into the writing—transforming her pain into a legacy of healing and resilience.
She is the author of six books, three belonging to her Hot Cocoa inspirational series.
She was nominated as one of BBC’s Outlook Inspirations (UK) in 2018, earned a LOANI Miracle Woman Award (2024) and received a Heroes Award for Determination (US, 2019). She was a finalist for the SheInspires Culture Award (Global) in 2024 (UK).
Her best reward? The lives she has touched through her online program Writing to Heal helping others reclaim their narratives.
