Barbara Ann Mojica, M.A. S.A.S., S.D.A is a historian and retired educator. Her education career spans more than forty years serving as a teacher, special educator, principal, and school district administrator.
Using the whimsical Little Miss History character to narrate her book series, she makes learning history a fun-filled adventure. Barbara firmly believes, "If you don't know your history, you don't know what you're talking about."
I help adults who care about children to entertain, inspire and empower our youth to become the leaders of tomorrow. To do this I provide them with tools and strategies to develop critical thinking skills, learn to be responsible citizens, take pride in their cultural heritage, and adapt to a rapidly changing social media environment.
I use my expertise in sharing my own work and those of other experts in the form of books, advice, video, and curriculum.
I am available to speak about the importance of history, citizenship, critical thinking, educational options, and the role of social media in our lives. Suggested audiences are:
k-6 classrooms
individual parents and parent groups
teachers and teachers groups
one-to-one educational coaching for general and special needs children
curriculum resources
