As an adjunct academic, Banya teaches courses on strategic human resources, entrepreneurship, and business, drawing from her extensive corporate experience in the Information and Technology industry.

As the founder of EsseMC Pty Ltd, a research-based management consultancy specializing in workplace wellbeing and corporate mindfulness, Banya integrates her research interests with her expertise in strategic human resources, leadership studies, technology's impact on human-centric issues, and women in the workplace.
As a leadership, executive and business coach, Banya has coached leaders, and mentored Generation Z employees, and designed programs to help individuals reach their full potential. Her coaching programs are centred on “Discovering your leadership style” and “Nurturing your leadership style”
With experience in curriculum design, assessment creation, and course development, she is adept at creating content and leading projects with agility, authenticity, and creativity. Banya uses project management and "design thinking" approaches to implement impactful programs, with past projects benefiting between 2,000 and 3,000 people. Over the years as a management consultant, Banya has collaborated with diverse business functions, especially within HR, and worked closely with business units to achieve her goals.
