So what is this summit about?
Sustainable Self-Care, Presence, and Regulation for Busy Professionals
The Sanctuary Within is a virtual experience designed to help you slow down, feel safe in your body, and find calm in the middle of real life. It’s about creating inner peace while managing a demanding career, full schedule, and ongoing responsibilities.
If you’re tired of pushing through and putting yourself last, this experience offers a different way forward.
This is not a summit built around passive listening. It blends learning with lived, felt practices so you can immediately experience what it means to regulate your nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and care for your well-being in realistic, sustainable ways. When you feel grounded from the inside out, you make clearer choices, find more balance, and live with greater intention.
You’ll leave feeling supported, more connected to yourself, and equipped with tools that fit into your life.
What to Expect
You’ll be guided through live, embodied practices that help you feel calm and regulated in real time. You’ll learn simple nervous system tools you can use even on your busiest days, without adding more to your plate.
You’ll be given permission to slow down and explore what sustainable self-care truly looks like for you. The space is intentionally supportive, helping you honor what’s present, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and reclaim your energy with purpose.
You’ll also learn practical ways to weave presence and mindfulness into your work and daily responsibilities, so you can show up with more clarity, balance, and alignment.
At its core, this experience invites you to step away from the chaos and return to your inner sanctuary, where your well-being becomes the pathway back to your power.
Our Approach
Every session is shaped by the belief that learning to pause, recenter, and listen inward is an essential life skill. Self-care is the foundation for sustainable living and working.
All sessions share a focus on nervous system health, self-trust, and slowing down. The experience includes built-in moments for grounding, reflection, and integration. The rhythm is intentional and flexible, modeling self-care through how the summit is structured.
We also understand you have a full life. You’re encouraged to participate in a way that feels supportive stepping away, resting, or choosing what aligns with your needs.
You’ll Leave With
- Practical regulation and self-care tools
- A felt experience of slowing down and returning to yourself
- Greater awareness of your nervous system and personal needs
- Clear, optional next steps to continue living with balance and intention

But visions that last are anchored somewhere deeper.” Briefly name the reality: • Many people have goals, but feel disconnected from them • Others are busy but unclear • Some feel pulled in many directions and don’t know why Key idea: “A vision without passion becomes obligation. Passion without vision becomes scattered energy.” This talk is about bringing the two together. Coming Home to YourselfLaura Gomez LMHC, LPCThe pressures of daily life and the current state of our world can feel burdensome and overwhelming. When we feel like everyone and everything is calling for our attention, we could easily leave ourselves behind due to our sense of obligation, or desire to escape. We then become disconnected from the truth of who we are, which could lead to physical, mental, emotional, and energetic imbalances resulting in disease. My intention is to guide you on the journey home to yourself, offering self-care practices to regulate your nervous system, leaving you with a sense of peace and calmness. In this state, you could better attune to your inner wisdom’s guidance, and when followed, you could live a joyful and fulfilling life.
Why Connection Disappears Under Stress — and How to Bring It BackLourdes Billingsley Lourdes Billingsley
Many people notice that when stress rises, connection becomes harder. We may feel anxious, withdrawn, or unable to engage with others the way we normally would. Often we also lose our sense of connection with ourselves — our steadiness, clarity, and inner presence.
This isn’t simply emotional or psychological — it reflects a shift in the nervous system.
In this experiential session, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Lourdes Billingsley, MA, SEP introduces the Social Engagement System, the part of the nervous system that supports regulation, connection, and a felt sense of safety with others.
Participants will learn why this system can go offline under stress and how we can gently support it in coming back online. Through simple guided exercises, attendees will experience practical ways to work with the body and nervous system to restore calm, presence, and connection.
Participants will leave with simple tools they can use in everyday moments of stress.

The Cost of Being the Strong OneNatascha Polomski MSc CIH BioEWAre you the “strong one” everyone leans on? The reliable, capable person who keeps going even when your body whispers, “slow down”? Burnout doesn’t usually arrive suddenly; it creeps in when we keep ignoring ourselves.
In this session, Natascha Polomski, burnout survivor and BioEnergetic Wellness professional, helps you notice the quiet signs your body sends before stress turns into exhaustion. You’ll learn The Pressure Pause, a simple 60-second tool to check in with yourself, pause, and respond differently... anytime, anywhere.

Reclaim, From Survival to StrengthRamona Crabtree-Falkner Mindfulness Speaker & FacilitatorIn demanding environments, many people unknowingly begin operating from a dysregulated nervous system. Constant pressure, responsibility, and urgency can keep the body in a prolonged state of stress, making it difficult to access clarity, presence, and sustainable energy.
In this talk, Ramona Crabtree Falkner shares her personal journey of recognizing the toll of living in survival mode and the shift that occurred when she began learning how to slow down and regulate her nervous system. Through personal story, practical education, and experiential reflection, participants gain insight into how nervous system dysregulation shapes the way we think, lead, and respond to life.
This experience invites attendees to reconsider the role of pause and awareness in restoring balance. Participants leave with a deeper understanding of how slowing down supports nervous system regulation, strengthens resilience, and creates space for more intentional and empowered living.
Stop Managing Emotions. Start Moving Them.Richard Morden Reset GuideMost of us were taught to control our emotions, push them down, think our way through them, or simply "get over it." But what if that approach has been keeping you stuck all along?
The truth is, emotions are not problems to be solved. They are energy in motion and they need to move.
In this powerful 30-minute experiential talk and live demonstration, I draws on many years of personal transformation and body-based healing to show you why your nervous system holds onto emotional pain, and more importantly, how to physically move it through and out of your body.
I will teach a variety of techniques, from EFT (tapping), some NLP frames, a model called Time Sweeps, and some other meridian energy techniques for regulating your nervous system.
Breath Mastery - The Road to Ultimate FreedomRobert TetteroIf you want to overcome stress, overwhelm, exhaustion, and avoid burnout, your breath is the tool. Although taking several breaths to regulate your nervous system when you are under stress will certainly help, it is not enough. The root cause of your nervous system overreacting just drops back down to the bottom until the next trigger ignites it again. Breath Mastery is necessary to eliminate the over-reactive nervous system from being constantly in standby mode.
Tapping for Daily LifeShannon BrownUsing tapping (EFT-Emotional Freedom Technique) as a part of a daily routine can help to balance the nervous system, bring about clarity, and ease in everyday life.
